BigBlue Housing Large Capacity Housings Available for Flow Rates (Now available in NSF Listed Version) The large capacity Big Blue housings are available with either 1" or 1 1/2" NPT for versatility. The sumps are constructed of reinforced polypropelene and are now available in two cap styles. The larger body size allows for greater cartridge capacity,thus reducing the number of vessels normally required in parallel installations. Housings are available in 10" and 20" lenghts to best meet your needs. The standard cap is moulded of glass-reinforced ABS, and the HFPP High Flow cap is of polypropelene. The HFPP cap can handle highflow rates and is compatible with a broad range of chemicals. The internal part has been enlarged from the standard 3/4" to 1 1/4", to allow more liquid to pass through with minimum restriction. Bothstyles of caps are available with or without a pressure relief button. (caps and sumps are interchangeable.) OPTIONAL A special polypropelene cartridge coupler is available for coupling two 9 3/4" Big Blue Cartridges,with the exception of 9 3/4" GAC cartridges.
